Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in mine engineering and operations.
• Strong expertise in mine planning software (Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac).
• Solid understanding of open-pit and/or underground mining methods and economics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hybrid work environment with office analysis and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine short-term and long-term mine production plans.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for projects.
• Optimize mining methods, equipment selection, and resource allocation.
• Analyze operational data to identify productivity and safety improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to site-based engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
