Key Responsibilities

• Utilize metallurgical simulation software to model and predict process behavior under different conditions.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for metallurgical challenges faced by plant operations.
• Collaborate with remote engineering and operations teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of emerging metallurgical technologies and assess their applicability to the company's operations.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mineral processing and metallurgy, with a proven track record in process optimization.
• Expertise in comminution, flotation, leaching, or other relevant mineral processing unit operations.
• Proficiency with metallurgical simulation software (e.g., HSC Chemistry, METSIM, GEMS) and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
