The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering, with 10+ years in mineral processing and expertise in MetSim and Outotec HSC to enable strong remote collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mineral processing, with a strong focus on process development and optimization.
• Proven experience with process simulation software (MetSim, Outotec HSC).

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mineral processing circuits (e.g., crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching).
• Conduct pilot plant studies and scale-up operations for new processes.
• Analyze metallurgical test data and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and implement sustainable processing practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams remotely to implement process changes.
