Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in metallurgical processing with a focus on optimization and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of mineral processing unit operations (e.g., comminution, flotation, leaching, solid-liquid separation).
Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to process improvement.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across different departments.

Responsibilities

Analyze metallurgical plant performance data to identify opportunities for process optimization.
Design, conduct, and interpret laboratory and pilot plant test work to validate process improvements.
Develop and implement process modifications to enhance metal recovery, grade, and throughput.
Troubleshoot operational challenges within the processing plant and provide technical solutions.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of process changes.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.
