Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design and analyze complex mechanical systems, ensuring integration across product lines and effective collaboration with a global team.

You will provide technical leadership and drive system verification and documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering, with 7+ years of design and integration experience, and strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS and CAD.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with systems focus.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical systems design and integration.
• Expertise in systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in advanced simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS) and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of control systems, mechatronics, and interdisciplinary engineering.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills suitable for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect complex mechanical systems, considering all aspects of performance, integration, and reliability.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis, including multi-physics simulations, to predict and validate system behavior.
• Develop system-level requirements, specifications, and interface definitions for mechanical subsystems.
• Collaborate with remote hardware and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, integration plans, and validation reports.
• Provide technical leadership and support for mechanical systems development within a remote team.
