You will apply CAD, FEA and prototyping to ensure functionality, reliability and manufacturability, collaborating with electrical engineers, industrial designers and manufacturing specialists. The role demands strong problem-solving and teamwork skills within a dynamic R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive mechanical design and product development experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
• Experience with FEA for stress, thermal, and vibration analysis.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to simulate and optimize product performance.
• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Oversee prototyping and testing processes, iterating on designs based on results.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing specialists.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.
