Job summary

C3 Resource Investments (Pty) Ltd in Centurion seeks an Engineering Manager – Mechanical (15+ years) to lead the Mechanical Engineering Department and drive complex process-plant projects from conception to delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, broad expertise in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping and equipment, and a proven track record in EPCM environments, with a focus on quality, safety and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng) is required.
• 15+ years in mechanical engineering, preferably in process plant or EPCM environments.
• Proven experience in engineering management, technical leadership and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping and mechanical process equipment.
• Familiarity with ASME, EN and SANS codes and standards.
• ECSA Pr Eng registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Mechanical Engineering Department, including engineers, designers and draughtsmen.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight across multiple projects.
• Oversee design and engineering of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems and equipment.
• Ensure deliverables meet technical, quality, budget and schedule requirements.
• Establish and maintain standards, procedures and QA practices.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, clients and suppliers.
• Manage resources, workloads and staff development.
• Contribute strategic input into engineering capabilities and growth.
