Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with robotics/mechatronics specialization.
• 6+ years of mechanical design experience with robotics, automation or complex machinery.
• Expert CAD/FEA proficiency with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor.
• Strong understanding of control systems and mechatronics principles.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for robotics systems.
• Perform structural and dynamic analysis using FEA.
• Create manufacturing drawings, tolerances and specs.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and controls teams in a virtual setting.
• Select materials, bearings, actuators and sensors for robotic applications.
• Oversee prototyping, testing and verification of designs.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturability and reliability.
• Stay updated on robotics and automation advancements.
