Placements24 seeks a Remote Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD, while performing FEA/CFD analyses to validate performance under varying conditions.

You will collaborate with product management, electronics, and manufacturing teams in a remote setting, guiding prototypes through testing and validation and contributing to material selection and manufacturability assessments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and advanced simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding, 3D printing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to work autonomously and manage priorities remotely.

Responsibilities
