Job summary

Communicate Finance seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design efforts for complex projects. You will create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings, and manage BOMs with PLM/PDM systems.

Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. The role requires 7+ years in mechanical design, strong DFMA knowledge, and the ability to travel internationally when needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of post-graduate mechanical design experience.
• Experience in product design and engineering development environments.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software; Siemens NX experience is advantageous.
• Experience creating detailed engineering drawings and complex assemblies.
• Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and DFMA principles.
• Experience with BOM creation and management.
• Ability to collaborate with suppliers, customers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

Qualification:
