Furniture Manufacturer (Johannesburg) seeks a strategic Dispatch Manager to lead the outbound logistics function within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will oversee dispatch operations, coordinate with 3PL partners, and align delivery performance with organisational goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in dispatch management, strong leadership, and proven ability to optimise logistics processes in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a dispatch management role within manufacturing or FMCG.
• Advanced computer literacy including ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound deliveries to meet customer booking requirements and delivery windows.
• Oversee 3PL providers to ensure accurate, on-time dispatch of finished goods.
• Collaborate with Sales and Production Planning to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Process Purchase Orders and Proof of Delivery documentation accurately and timely.
• Monitor dispatch procedures and implement cost-saving process improvements.
