Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and international logistics is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead large teams.

Our client, a rapidly growing logistics and distribution company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Manager to oversee their operations based out of **Soweto**. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the entire logistics network, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and supply chain optimization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, enhancing delivery performance, and maintaining high standards of service. This position requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of logistics operations, supply chain best practices, and a proven ability to manage complex networks. The role is based on-site to provide direct oversight and leadership to the operational teams. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven track record of managing complex logistics operations and driving cost savings.
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience in managing a large team and multiple logistics functions.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and international logistics is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
