Placements24 seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead logistics in Soweto and surrounding Gauteng areas. You will oversee warehousing, transportation, and supply chain activities for Oil & Gas projects, driving efficiency and cost reductions while managing a team of logistics professionals.

The role requires 7+ years in logistics/operations, strong leadership, and expertise in ERP systems. You will ensure safety, compliance, and alignment with procurement, production, and sales to meet business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in logistics and operations management, preferably in Oil & Gas.
• Proven track record in warehouse operations, fleet, and transportation.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in logistics and supply chain management.
