The role requires admission as an Attorney of the High Court of SA and 4–6 years in commercial law with a focus on contracts. Strong analysis and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• 4–6 years of experience in commercial law, focusing on contract drafting and review.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including service agreements, transportation contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Provide legal advice on day-to-day operational issues and regulatory compliance within the logistics sector.
• Assist in managing disputes and claims, working towards efficient resolution.
• Conduct legal research on relevant legislation and case law impacting the industry.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant South African laws.
• Maintain legal records and documentation accurately.
• Support the management team in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with external counsel on specialized legal matters as needed.
