Placements24 is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel in Mahikeng to lead drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of commercial contracts. You will advise multiple business units on terms, risks, and compliance, ensuring alignment with policy and legal requirements while managing the contract lifecycle.

The role requires admitted attorney status with at least five years in commercial contract law, preferably in-house.

Formación

• Admitted Attorney with 5+ years in commercial contract law, preferably in-house.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements; risk management focus.
• Proficient in contract management systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, customer contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
• Advise business teams on contractual terms, risks, and legal implications.
• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including maintaining a contract database and tracking key dates.
• Assist with the development and implementation of standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide practical legal solutions.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments affecting commercial agreements.
