Qualifications

• 18 years or older and able to work safely in a kitchen.
• Ability to prepare a variety of foods following recipes and menus.
• Knowledge of food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork with residents and staff.
• Must complete background clearances and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per planned menus and recipes, ensuring high-quality, appetizing meals.
• Follow standardized recipes, manage stocking and inventory.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and sanitize workstations according to policies.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers.
• Interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff and respond to feedback.
• Assist with menu changes and substitutions as directed by supervisors.
