Paracon is seeking a senior Android developer to enhance and maintain the merchant card machine applications using Kotlin. The role focuses on integrating Kotlin functionality with the web and Java layers while migrating suitable features from legacy web code.

You will collaborate with product, testing, security, and other engineering teams to deliver production-ready features and maintain high code quality, security, and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Android development and integrating application components.
• Experience with Java and the ability to work with existing Java-based Android functionality.
• Ability to work across application layers and support gradual modernization.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test, and maintain Android applications and components using Kotlin.
• Integrate Kotlin payment functionality with the existing card machine web layer.
• Work with the existing Java-based device security layer and preserve its restrictions.
• Help migrate suitable functionality from the legacy web layer into Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product, testing, security, and other engineering teams to deliver production-ready features.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, release readiness, and ongoing maintenance.
