Job summary

takealot.com is seeking two high-achieving Key Account Managers (Digital Advertising) to join the Retail Media Team in Cape Town. You will lead client relationships, craft advertising proposals, and drive revenue while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in digital advertising/account management, strong knowledge of the digital landscape, and proficiency with Google Workspace. A market‑related remuneration package and a fast-paced environment await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising or Media.
• 6+ years' experience in a digital/advertising account management role.
• Minimum 5 years Advertising Account Management experience or 3 years Digital Account Management experience.
• Experience in Advertising and Media Sales.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between internal & external stakeholders and Takealot Advertising team.
• Create advertising proposals to drive strategic objectives.
• Generate campaign cost estimates and oversee invoicing with accurate financials.
• Generate regular performance reports, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with creative, analytics, and campaign management teams for seamless execution.
• Provide actionable reporting to Advertisers with suggestions for future campaigns.
• Achieve and exceed advertising revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve the advertiser experience.
