Job summary

Ad Talent Africa is seeking a commercially driven Digital Key Account Manager in Johannesburg to manage and grow a portfolio of agency, brand and advertiser accounts. You will develop new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and create compelling digital proposals to secure campaigns.

You will negotiate commercial agreements, coordinate with internal teams, and monitor campaign performance, using insights to drive account growth and identify upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in digital advertising sales, media sales, agency account management or a similar commercial role.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing client accounts.
• Experience selling digital advertising, media, branded content, sponsorships or performance marketing solutions.
• Strong presentation, proposal writing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret campaign performance data and provide commercial recommendations.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, PowerPoint or Google Slides, and Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of agency, brand and advertiser accounts.
• Develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies and direct clients.
• Create compelling digital advertising and partnership proposals.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and secure new campaigns.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to brief.
• Monitor campaign performance and present meaningful insights to clients.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM records.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
