Job summary

Stryker South Africa is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to drive growth in the Western Cape Joint Replacement portfolio. You will build strong clinical and commercial relationships, work with leadership and cross-functional teams, and mentor junior reps while achieving sales objectives.

In this role you will develop territory plans, engage healthcare professionals, provide clinical support during procedures, and collaborate on tender proposals and negotiations to maximise opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in healthcare/medical devices.
• Experience selling Joint Replacement products and providing clinical support.
• Experience managing customers in Western Cape territory.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, analytical, planning and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve/exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and understand clinical/commercial needs.
• Promote Joint Replacement products through consultative selling and communicate value to stakeholders.
• Provide clinical and technical support during procedures, including operating theatre coverage.
• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities and expand portfolio."
• Maintain knowledge of products, procedures, market developments, and customer needs for clinical conversations.
• Support commercial activities including tender proposals and negotiations with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and support junior sales representatives with best practices.
