Job summary

e-Merge IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Java Salesforce Developer in Sandton (Hybrid) with a target package of R1.6m per annum. The role focuses on architecting Salesforce-based insurance solutions, mentoring developers and delivering end-to-end platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate will combine Java and Salesforce expertise, lead architectural decisions, and drive scalable, compliant implementation across policy management, claims, and CRM workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with Salesforce exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Ability to lead Salesforce architecture and communicate decisions to engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions for the Salesforce insurance platform.
