Job summary

e-Merge IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Java Salesforce Developer in Sandton to lead architectural decisions and design scalable Salesforce Insurance solutions. You will mentor engineers while delivering Apex logic, LWC, and Flows, and integrating policy administration, claims and payments.

Applicants should have 6+ years of software development experience with Salesforce exposure and a tertiary IT qualification.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with meaningful Salesforce exposure.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
• Experience delivering complex Salesforce solutions end-to-end.
• Ability to lead Salesforce architecture and explain decisions to engineers and stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated or financial services environments is advantageous.
• Mentoring developers and driving engineering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions and enhance the Salesforce Insurance platform.
• Develop policy lifecycle management, claims processing and client relationship management capabilities.
• Integrate policy administration, claims intake, adjudication and payment processing systems.
