Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a hybrid role in South Africa. You will translate business requirements into Salesforce functionality and contribute to a scalable data model.

The ideal candidate has a post-matric technology qualification, Salesforce Developer Certification, and 3+ years of coding experience, with exposure to the broader SDLC, including requirements gathering and testing. Financial services SME experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Convert Business Requirements into Salesforce functionality.
Ensure Salesforce codebase and data model remain coherent and well documented per standards by the Technical Architect.
Liaise with the Developer Manager, Project Manager, and team members to coordinate delivery of solutions.
Stay up to date with code standards and processes; teach other developers new trends and methodologies.
Learn and upskill on other technology platforms that can be implemented as the company grows.
Develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and new functionality.
