The ideal candidate has extensive IT project management experience, strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, and a track record of successful vendor coordination and budgeting in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 9 years IT project management; 5+ years in lead roles for system integrations.
• Proven ERP/CRM and significant cloud migration project experience.
• Strong knowledge of integration methodologies, middleware, and API management.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall; PMP/ITIL/Agile certs valued.
• Randburg/Gauteng local experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of large IT systems integration projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Manage and mentor project teams comprised of internal IT staff, external consultants, and vendor resources.
• Oversee the selection, procurement, and implementation of new technologies and integration platforms.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including system integration testing, UAT, and performance testing.
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring proactive problem-solving.
• Ensure all projects adhere to IT governance, security policies, and industry best practices.
• Facilitate effective communication with all stakeholders, including executive leadership, business units, and technical teams.
• Drive the adoption of integrated systems and provide post-implementation support and optimization.
