Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead IT infrastructure and cloud-based projects in Midrand, Gauteng. You will oversee design, implementation, and migration of complex IT systems, including cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years focusing on infrastructure and cloud projects (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven track record of managing large-scale IT infrastructure deployments and cloud migrations.
• Strong understanding of networking, servers, storage, data centers, and cloud architecture.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with hybrid work environments is essential for collaboration in Midrand, Gauteng, ZA .
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Administrator are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, technical requirements, and resource plans.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.
