Job summary

WhatJobs Direct is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide solution implementations from East London, Eastern Cape, ZA. This hybrid role combines remote work with on-site stakeholder engagement to deliver ERP/CRM deployments and other core business systems.

You will manage end-to-end IT projects, champion enterprise architecture, and guide cross-functional teams through SDLC processes. Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/BA or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 desirable.
• 7-9 years of project management experience delivering enterprise IT solutions (ERP, CRM, SCM).
• Proven track record of delivering large IT projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, SDLC, and Agile/Waterfall implementations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of enterprise solution implementations.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources with stakeholders.
• Manage cross-functional teams including IT, analysts and vendors.
• Oversee configuration, data migration, integration and testing phases.
• Develop and execute change management and communication plans.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Manage budgets and ensure financial accountability.
• Ensure governance, quality standards and best practices are followed.
• Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders including executives.
• Monitor progress and provide accurate status reports.
