Job summary

WatersEdge Solutions is partnering with a well-established insurance/IT services organisation to recruit an experienced IT Operations Manager. This senior role leads IT Infrastructure, IT Support and Facilities, ensuring the availability, security and resilience of the technology environment while driving operational excellence.

You will mentor teams, implement best practices and drive service delivery improvements to support long-term business objectives in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Operations or Facilities Management leadership.
• Proven experience leading multiple technical and operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
• Experience developing IT policies, governance frameworks, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Infrastructure, IT Support and Facilities teams to ensure availability, security and resilience of the technology environment.
• Drive service delivery improvements, governance, and cost optimisation across IT operations and facilities.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data privacy, regulatory compliance and business continuity planning.
• Mentor and develop team members; lead strategic projects that align IT with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs and collaborate with senior leadership to achieve operational targets.
