Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead IT infrastructure projects in Tembisa. You will plan, execute and close initiatives covering network upgrades, data center management, and cloud migrations.

The role blends technical understanding with strong PM acumen to ensure seamless integration and minimal business disruption. The successful candidate will work with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with strategic objectives,

Qualifications

5+ years of IT project management experience with a focus on infrastructure.
Experience managing complex IT projects across networks, servers and cloud technologies.
Strong understanding of ITIL principles and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience coordinating distributed teams and stakeholders in Tembisa.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for IT infrastructure projects.
Manage project execution, including resource allocation, task management, and risk mitigation.
Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business units for alignment.
Oversee implementation of new IT infrastructure components in the Gauteng region.
Conduct post-mortems to capture lessons learned and best practices for future IT initiatives.
