Placements24 is seeking a Senior Helpdesk Technician in Randburg, Gauteng. You will provide advanced technical support, mentor junior staff, manage IT incidents, and help shape IT policies.

The role combines on-site office work with remote tasks, offering flexibility while ensuring team collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong Windows/macOS, network, and security knowledge, relevant IT certifications, and a degree or equivalent experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT.
• Proven experience in senior IT support or helpdesk roles.
• Knowledge of Windows/macOS, networks, and security fundamentals.

Mansioni

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex IT problems, escalate when needed.
• Manage and prioritize IT tickets with SLA adherence.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist in IT policy development and procedures.
• Train and mentor junior helpdesk staff.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, and security checks.
• Document solutions and IT asset inventory.
• Contribute to IT projects as required.
