Pronel Personnel is seeking a goal-driven In-House IT Engineer/Technician to join our Pietermaritzburg team. This on-site role focuses on maintaining internal and client IT infrastructures, delivering rapid fault resolution, and ensuring seamless business operations through strong hands-on technical skills and excellent interpersonal communication.

The role covers 1st and 2nd line support, network monitoring, backups, workstation provisioning, and clear escalation when needed.

Formación

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, OS installations, software applications, and network connectivity challenges.
• Monitor internal client networks, perform preventative system maintenance, and verify daily data backups and security protocols.
• Assemble, configure, and deploy workstations, peripherals, email accounts, and user access rights according to company standards.
• Efficiently troubleshoot technical issues under pressure, ensuring minimum downtime and maintaining SLAs.
