• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on IP network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS.
• Solid understanding of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and security best practices.
• Experience with network management and monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
• Scripting for automation (Python, Ansible) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy complex IP network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Develop and implement routing and switching strategies using protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures to protect against threats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network capacity planning and upgrades.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
• Stay current with emerging IP networking technologies and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations for network incident response.
• Mentor junior network engineers and share technical expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in IP network engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
• Proficiency in scripting for network automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote work.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIP are highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
