Job summary

Vodacom is seeking a dedicated investigator to conduct objective, evidence-based investigations into internal and external security incidents. The role includes identifying offenders, gathering evidence from CCTV and access-control systems, and producing clear investigation reports.

Responsibilities cover internal, BTS and infrastructure investigations, interviewing witnesses, liaison with SAPS and stakeholders, and providing support during police operations and incidents.

Qualifications

• Three-year degree or diploma in Criminal Justice, Policing, Security Management, Forensic Investigation, Criminology, Risk Management or a related field.
• Three to five years’ relevant investigation experience is essential.
• Experience in criminal, forensic, corporate or physical security investigations is essential.
• Experience in conducting interviews, gathering evidence and compiling investigation reports is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective investigations into internal security incidents and external BTS security incidents.
• Gather and evaluate evidence including CCTV footage, access-control records and statements.
• Interview witnesses and employees, identify involved parties and assess patterns.
• Produce objective investigation reports and maintain accurate case files.
• Liaise with Vodacom stakeholders, SAPS and other authorities as required.
• Provide support to regional security teams and other business areas during investigations.
