Job summary

Vodacom is seeking a dedicated investigator to conduct objective investigations into internal and external security incidents across Vodacom facilities and BTS sites. The role involves gathering evidence, interviewing stakeholders, and compiling detailed reports in line with policy and legislation.

The successful candidate will have a background in criminal or physical security investigations, strong analytical skills and the ability to travel nationally for site visits and standby duties.

Qualifications

• Three-year degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Three to five years’ investigation experience is essential.
• Experience in criminal, forensic, corporate or physical security investigations is essential.
• Experience in conducting interviews, gathering evidence and compiling investigation reports is essential.
• Willingness to travel nationally and participate in standby arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct objective investigations into internal and external security incidents.
• Investigate CCTV footage, access-control records and other evidence.
• Interview complainants, witnesses, employees and contractors.
• Identify security weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Liaise with regional security teams and SAPS where required.
• Prepare clear investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Provide support during major incidents and police operations.
