Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
A Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance claims management with leadership/supervisory roles.
In-depth knowledge of insurance products and claims processes.
Proven track record of leading and motivating a claims team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the insurance claims department, including staff supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
Develop and implement effective claims handling procedures and strategies to ensure efficiency and fairness.
Oversee the entire claims lifecycle, from initial reporting to final settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Monitor claims performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Manage the claims budget and control costs effectively without compromising service quality.
Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and finance to resolve complex claims issues.
Identify trends in claims data to inform risk management and product development strategies.
Manage relationships with third-party service providers, such as loss adjusters and repair networks.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in claims management.
