Placements24 is seeking a Senior Installation Engineer to oversee complex installation projects in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate installation planning, and ensure successful commissioning of specialized equipment across on-site and office environments.

This hybrid role requires strong technical execution and project management, with travel to customer sites and collaboration with clients to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Installation Engineering or senior technical roles within Installation & Maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems relevant to client products.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the installation of advanced equipment, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Develop installation plans, method statements, and risk assessments for complex projects.
• Mentor junior technicians and engineers, providing technical direction during installations.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments for installation readiness.
• Perform system integration, configuration, testing, and final commissioning.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project success.
