Placements24 is seeking a Senior Installation Engineer to lead and execute complex installation projects in the Klerksdorp area. You will oversee planning, preparation, execution, and commissioning, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and top quality.

The role requires a strong leadership track record, deep technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, and a history of managing intricate installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in installation engineering, project management, or related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to offerings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the installation and commissioning of advanced equipment and systems on client sites.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Oversee and guide a team of installation technicians, providing technical expertise and direction.
• Ensure compliance with all project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct post-installation inspections and provide comprehensive handover documentation and training.
