Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Technical Installation Manager for Sandton, a hybrid role combining on-site supervision with remote planning. You will lead installation teams, ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and coordinate with clients and vendors.

The ideal candidate has proven installation management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with project management tools, enabling effective resource allocation and risk mitigation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Technical Installation Management or similar PM role.
• Strong knowledge of installation processes, equipment and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and resolve conflicts.
• Experience with project management software and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of technical installation projects from initiation to completion.
• Supervise installation teams, assign tasks, ensure safety and quality.
• Develop project plans, schedules and budgets, monitor progress.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, internal departments for smooth execution.
• Oversee remote planning and resource allocation, provide on-site oversight as needed.
