Placements24 is seeking a Lead Project Manager - Infrastructure to oversee a portfolio of major infrastructure programs in Rustenburg. The role combines on-site oversight with strategic planning in the office, offering a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field, 10+ years' experience in large-scale projects, PMP desirable, and is skilled in managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PMP certification is desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management with large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop plans for scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Direct project teams, mentor staff, and manage performance.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure quality, safety, and contractual compliance.
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and report on status, budget, and timelines.
• Control costs to maximise profitability.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
