Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Master's degree or equivalent advanced qualification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in programme management, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure development projects.
• Proven experience managing programmes with budgets exceeding R12 million.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage overarching programme strategies, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of multiple concurrent infrastructure development projects.
• Manage programme budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasts, ensuring cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate programme-level risks and issues, implementing robust contingency plans.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and other programme staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community leaders, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and safety protocols throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Monitor programme progress, performance metrics, and milestones, reporting to senior leadership.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all project teams and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in programme management processes and methodologies.
