Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure enterprise solutions in Sandton. You will establish and maintain a scalable security architecture aligned with business goals and evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities include defining security blueprints, setting standards, and guiding technical teams in secure system design and deployment across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive security architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Define security standards, patterns, and guidelines for infrastructure, applications, and data protection.
• Evaluate and select new security technologies and solutions to address current and future risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and development, to integrate security into the SDLC.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and provide expert recommendations for hardening systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain threat models and security architecture documentation.
