Placements24 is seeking a visionary Senior Information Security Architect to lead secure infrastructure design for a Bloemfontein-based client while working fully remotely. You will define security blueprints, translate business needs into robust solutions, and influence key tech decisions.

You will drive security architecture across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, guide incident response, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 10+ years in information security.
• Experience in security architecture and design.
• Experience in cloud, on-prem, hybrid environments.
• Certifications such as CISSP-ISSAP, SABSA, or TOGAF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise security solutions and frameworks.
• Maintain security architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate and adopt new security technologies and best practices.
• Provide leadership on security best practices to engineering and IT teams.
• Lead technical security incident response and forensics.
• Ensure architecture compliance with standards and regulations.
