Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join a global security team in a fully remote role. You will collect, analyze, and interpret threat data from open sources, commercial feeds, and internal investigations to anticipate adversaries and protect critical assets.

You will develop actionable intelligence for security operations and executives, track TTPs, and collaborate with threat-hunting teams while staying current on geopolitical factors and emerging cyber threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical factors influencing cyber threats.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information concisely.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze threat intelligence data from diverse sources, including open-source, commercial feeds, and internal investigations.
• Identify and track threat actors, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Develop timely and actionable intelligence reports for security operations and executive leadership.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve defensive capabilities.
• Collaborate with threat hunting teams to proactively search for indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Stay current with the global threat landscape and emerging cybersecurity trends.
