Placements24 seeks an experienced Industrial Project Engineer to lead facility development and upgrade projects in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role is on-site, driving projects from scope definition to completion while ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and quality.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage design, procurement and commissioning, and apply PMP practices where possible. Health, safety and environmental policies will guide all work as you deliver improvements to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of project engineering/management experience in industrial/manufacturing.
• Experience managing large-scale facilities and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of PMP is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, and CAD.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage industrial projects from conception to completion with scope, planning, budgeting, and resources.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Present regular status reports to senior management.
• Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure quality.
• Manage budgets and control expenditures.
