Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in industrial engineering with PM focus.
• Experience managing complex projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera and scheduling techniques.
• Lean principles knowledge and their application in projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage diverse teams.
• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with construction processes and regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Eligible to work in South Africa; available for hybrid work in Upington.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management of industrial development initiatives from conception to completion.
• Apply industrial engineering principles to optimize project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new development projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project documentation, including reports, permits, and technical specifications.
• Optimize construction and operational processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide regular project updates and performance reports to senior management.
