Placements24 is hiring an experienced Industrial Engineer for a hybrid role in Upington, Northern Cape. You will analyze facility layouts, optimize workflows, and improve resource utilization to boost productivity.

You will conduct time and motion studies, use simulation tools (Arena, ProModel, AnyLogic), and develop KPI dashboards while collaborating with operations and maintenance teams. On-site presence is required with some remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, focusing on facility and operations analysis.
• CAD software proficiency for layout design is highly desirable.
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools (Arena, ProModel, AnyLogic) is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for hybrid collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.
• Experience in agricultural or food processing industry is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working on-site in Upington and remotely as required by hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities
