Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Engineer to join our Centurion facilities team. You will ensure reliability of all industrial machinery, implement preventive strategies, and lead maintenance initiatives to support production goals.
The role requires strong expertise in PLCs, automation, and CMMS, with a focus on safety and effective maintenance management in Gauteng. Centurion-based position with opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC programming, and automation technologies.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools, predictive maintenance (vibration, thermal imaging), and CMMS.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all industrial equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, performing timely and effective repairs.
- Oversee major repair projects, including equipment overhauls and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts.
