Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Quality Assurance for our Polokwane operations. You will lead quality initiatives, implement robust QMS, and drive continuous improvement across production and R&D teams.

The role requires strong SPC/DOE expertise, root cause analysis capabilities, and leadership to elevate product reliability and customer satisfaction. Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years in industrial engineering, with 3+ years in QA in manufacturing.
• Proficient in SPC, DOE, and other quality tools.
• Experience with root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and teamwork.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Polokwane, Limpopo.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures.
• Utilize statistical methods (e.g., SPC, DOE) to monitor and control product and process quality.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality deviations and implement CAPA.
• Establish and track KPIs and report quality metrics to management.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to integrate quality in new product development and process design.
• Conduct internal audits of manufacturing processes for quality compliance.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
• Train production and quality personnel on quality standards and procedures.
• Stay current with industry best practices and ISO 9001 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
