Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Quality Assurance Engineer to join the operations team in East London, Eastern Cape. You will develop, implement, and monitor QMS, conduct inspections, analyze quality data, and drive improvements to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, at least 4 years in quality assurance in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, and root

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in manufacturing.
• Proven experience with ISO 9001 and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, RCA).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Minitab).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• On-site work in East London, Eastern Cape; ASQ certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system (QMS).
• Design and execute quality control plans, including inspection, testing, and validation procedures.
• Utilize SPC tools to monitor production processes and identify deviations.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement CAPA.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
• Prepare quality reports with metrics and recommendations for management.
• Train production staff on quality standards, procedures, and defect prevention.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and expectations.
