Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with 5+ years of tech/IP/privacy focus.
• Strong understanding of software licensing, SaaS, and cloud computing issues.
• Knowledge of SA and international data protection laws.
• Experience in remote/distributed team environments is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Business-focused, proactive problem-solver.

Responsabilités

• Advise on IP, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Draft/negotiate SaaS agreements, licenses, and development contracts.
• Ensure POPIA/data privacy compliance and data security practices.
• Support product teams with legal analysis on new features/tech.
