- Admitted Attorney with minimum 5 years in technology law, IP, or data privacy.
- Strong understanding of software licensing, SaaS, and digital services agreements.
- Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations.
- Experience in managing intellectual property rights.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely.
Responsibilities
- Advise on technology-related contracts, including software licensing, SaaS, and development contracts.
- Provide counsel on data privacy and protection regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR).
- Manage and protect the company's IP portfolio (patents, trademarks, copyrights).
- Support product development teams on legal/compliance matters for new technologies.
- Assist with regulatory compliance in the technology sector.
- Negotiate and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and other online legal documents.
